Jessi Carina, Jakarta – Hundreds of protesters from the Labour Party and the Confederation of the All-Indonesian Workers Union (KSPSI) held a demonstration in front of the United Nations office at the Thamrin Tower in Central Jakarta on Friday October 27.

Natania Longdong, Jakarta – The conflict between Israel and Hamas and other armed groups over the last three weeks has resulted in civilian causalities.

Hayamuddin and Aghe Bagasatriya – Early on Saturday, October 7, a surprise attack was launched by resistance groups based in the Gaza Strip.

Jakarta – Defend Palestine actions have been held in several parts of Indonesia. In the Central Java city of Yogyakarta, thousands of protesters from the Islamic Community Forum (FUI) swarmed into the zero kilometre point across from the central post office on Friday afternoon, October 13.

Novianti Setuningsih, Jakarta – A number of labour organisations held a demonstration in front of the United States (US) Embassy in Central Jakarta on Tuesday October 10 calling for an end to the Hamas-Israeli war.

We demand the removal of Cuba from the United States (US) Administration’s list of countries supporting terrorism, along with the unconditional lifting of the debilitating blockade, an action met with unanimous opposition from the international community.

Jakarta – As many as 200 Jakarta residents, including the Iranian diaspora, demonstrated in front of the Iranian Embassy in Jakarta on October 18. They were demanding a transparent and fair investigation into the deaths of scores of women and children in Teheran and other Iranian cities.
