Jakarta – The Jakarta Regional Leadership Board (DPW) of the People's Justice and Prosperity Party (Prima) held a regional conference at the Sunter Sports Centre in North Jakarta on Sunday August 4.
Prima Party Jakarta regional Chairperson Nuradim said that in relation to which candidates they will support in the upcoming elections for Jakarta governor (cagub) and deputy governor (cawagub), Prima has taken a decision to leave it up to the political parties that are part of the Indonesia Onward Coalition (KIM).
"In relation to Prima's support for the Jakarta cagub and cawagub, we will leave it up to the KIM. I can confirm that Prima will support their choice for cagub and cawagub", said Nuradim in giving his greetings to the conference.
Nuradim added that for the upcoming Jakarta candidates, Prima is entrusting three priority programs with them that must be completed, namely related to social inequality, public health and education for future generations.
"We hope that the issue of inequality, health and education will be the concern of the future governor and deputy governor", he added.
On the same occasion, Prima Chairperson Agus Jabo Priyono said that their task in the future is to oversee and secure the program of struggle of president elect Prabowo Subianto and vice president elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"The most important thing among the other important programs is related to downstreaming and free nutritious food [for school children], these two things are always a concern for people everywhere", he concluded.
Prima's Jakarta regional conference was also attended by members of Prabowo Subianto's Indonesia Onward Coalition including Democrat Party Regional Leadership Board (DPD) Chairperson Mujiono, Golkar Party faction Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) member Judistira Hermawan and Indonesian Reform Movement Party (Garuda) Jakarta DPD Chairperson Nursasi Sufayan.
