Muhammad Almer Sidqi – The Centre of Economic and Law Studies (Celios) has evaluated President Prabowo Subianto's performance in the first 100 days of his administration by surveying 95 journalists who have in-depth insights into government performance.

The journalists were asked to assess Prabowo's performance in terms of program achievement, the suitability of policy plans compared with public needs, leadership quality and coordination, budget management and policy communication.

Journalist were chosen as respondents because of their experience in observing the performance of public officials on a regular basis.

"Because their profession requires them to look for facts, verify information, and provide accurate and unbiased reports. They can provide a more objective and independent assessment", Celios wrote in a report titled Report Card on 100 Days of Prabowo-Gibran.

The result was that the majority or 49% of respondents rated the performance of the administration of Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka as poor.

Broken down, 7 percent stated that it was very poor and 42 percent stated it was poor. Meanwhile 42 percent of respondents considered the cabinet's performance to be adequate while only 8 percent stated it was good. No respondents answering that it was very good.

This survey also found that the majority or 74 percent of respondents believe that the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet has fulfilled some of their campaign promises in the first 100 working days.

Meanwhile, Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai was considered to be the minister with the worst performance throughout the first 100 days of the Red and White Cabinet. He was given a score of -113 points.

"This score indicates a significant criticism of policies in the field of human rights, because of the various controversies or lack of breakthroughs made", Celios wrote.

The next worst position was occupied by Cooperatives Minister Budi Arie Setiadi who got a score of -61 points followed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia with a score of -41 points.
