Sudirman Wamad, Bandung – The sudden emergence of a discourse on drafting an anti-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) regional regulation (Perda) in the West Java (Jabar) provincial capital of Bandung has attracted support and opposition.

Bandung – The Bandung municipal government (Pemkot) in West Java has declared its support for the drafting of a prohibition in the form of a regional regulation (Perda) against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT).

Nugroho Nafika Kassa, Makassar – This year the government of the South Sulawesi provincial capital of Makassar will begin deliberating a draft bylaw (Ranperda) on deviant sexual behaviour, including among this Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT).

Medan (Detik Sumut) – Bobby Nasution, the mayor of the North Sumatra city of Medan, has stressed that they reject Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) behaviour.
