A plenary session of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) erupted into chaos Monday when councillors began squabbling over who should lead the meeting. The DPD has been embroiled in a protracted power struggle since a controversial Supreme Court verdict allowed the council’s former speaker and deputy speaker to continue their tenure until 2019.
