As the Jakarta gubernatorial election draws near, the seven political parties under the Kinship Coalition (Koalisi Kekeluargaan) are scrambling to form alliances in order to break a deadlock over potential candidates after the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle expressed its reluctance to support incumbent Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama (left).
