Tatang Guritno, Jakarta – Amnesty International Indonesia Executive Director Usman Hamid says that President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo cannot just wash his hands of the polemic over the dismissal of 57 Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employees.

Public representatives supporting the Corruption Eradication Emergency Office have delivered 1,505 letters to President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo through the State Secretariat. The letters were received by the emergency office since it was opened on September 15.

ICW researcher Kurnia Ramadhana explained the first factor is the KPK leadership's poor level of integrity because of numerous ethics violations.

Achmad Nasrudin Yahya, Jakarta – The results of a survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) show that the majority or around 60 percent of respondents believe that corruption in Indonesia has worsened over the last two years.
