Roni Afriyanto, Karawang – Around 3 thousand workers demonstrated in Karawang, West Java, on August 13 against planned revisions to the Law Number 13/2003 on Labour. Bandar Lampung – Commemorating International Labour Day or May Day, around 600 workers from various different trade unions took to the streets of Bandar Lampung in South Sumatra on Wednesday May 1.

The workers concentrated at three points in the city: the Adipura Monument, Saburai Enggal Park and the Korpri North Teluk Betung Park.

Nicky Aulia Widadio, Jakarta – A number of labour organisations held a demonstration at the US Embassy in Jakarta on Tuesday February 12 to protest against US intervention in Venezuela.

The action began at the nearby Horse Monument followed by a long-march to the US Embassy in Central Jakarta.

Gatot Subroto in Central Jakarta on Monday February 12 saying that the RKUHP will trample on democratic principles.
