Ramadhian Fadillah, Jakarta – Eight protest actions will rock Jakarta today, Wednesday March 5. So be on the lookout for traffic jams near points such as Jl. Gatot Subroto.

Arfi Bambani Amri, Jakarta – Two protest actions will be taking place in Jakarta today. The first protest will be at the Supreme Court building on Jl. Medan Merdeka Utara in Central Jakarta and the second at the Attorney General’s Office on Jl. Sisingamangaraja in South Jakarta.

Indra Subagja Jakarta – The investigation into the murder of human rights activists Munir continues. Now that Pollycarpus Budihari Priyanto has been sentenced to 20 years in jail by the Supreme Court, police are now taking aim at other suspects – a number of which have already been questioned.

Ibnu Rusydi/TMC, Jakarta – Protest actions will colour the capital city on Thursday January 24. The Metro Jaya regional police intelligence and security directorate has received notification of seven planned demonstrations.

Hundreds of activists from various community organisations took to the streets to demand justice for Munir.

Rudy Prasetyo, Jakarta – Around 500 people from the Solidarity Alliance for Munir demonstrated at the national police headquarters in South Jakarta today. They were demanding that the police quickly solve the Munir case and guarantee protection to all human rights defenders.

Muhammad Nur Hayid, Jakarta – Two years after Munir’s murder the case remains a mystery but demands for the case to be resolved are continuing to be raised. Munir’s wife, Suciwati, is asking President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to form a new investigation team.
