Makassar – Five unmarried couples were netted by the Makassar Metropolitan District Police (Polrestabes) Women and Child Protection (PPA) Unit during a sweep operation of boarding houses in the South Sulawesi provincial capital that are often cited as places of immorality.

Surabaya – A Transparent Evening Dress Competition which should have been held in the East Java provincial capital of Surabaya on Thursday November 24 has been abruptly cancelled. The cancellation has been confirmed directly by the Royal Plaza management and the organisers.

Jakarta – West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum is proposing that husbands be allowed to be polygamous in order to bring down the number of HIV/AIDS sufferers among housewives. He said that religion does not prohibit husbands from practicing polygamy.
